Background
Rosalyn Maldonado is the founder of Rosalyn Maldonado P.C. She is a skilled litigation attorney with extensive experience in state and federal courts and expertise in diverse areas of the law. Her practice consists primarily of litigation at all stages in the areas of construction, real estate, labor, matrimonial, general corporate matters, collection defense and general contractual disputes. Her transactional work includes commercial and residential leases, purchase and sale of real property, consulting and employment agreements, LLC agreements, and general corporate governance.
History
She has been in practice for over 20 years. During that time she served as Deputy General Counsel for Red Apple Group, Inc. Gristede’s Supermarkets belongs to Red Apple Group.
After leaving Red Apple Group, Inc., Ms. Maldonado joined a boutique litigation defense firm for 8 years. With extensive negotiation experiences, she has a unique insight into litigation matters and make her extremely effective in assessing and evaluating cases.

After working at other firms, she has now ventured out on her own. As a result, she can provide clients attention and offer a holistic approach to her clients.

Education & Degrees
After receiving her J.D. at Fordham School of Law, Ms. Maldonado was admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York. A graduate of Brandeis University, cum laude, with High Honors in Sociology, she is fluent in Spanish.
A member of the New York State Bar Association, Ms. Maldonado belongs to the Fordham School of Law Alumni Association. Also, she belongs to the Brandeis University Alumni Association. Furthermore, she participates in the “Cafecito” networking organization for Latina attorneys.
